The PixleykaSeme Local Municipality is situated on the eastern border between Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal and is framed by the Mkhondo Municipality in the east, Msukaligwa Municipality to the north and Lekwa Municipality to the west. It comprises an area of approximately 5227.98km², which includes Amersfoot, Ezamokuhle, Perdekop, Siyanzenzeda, Volksrust, Vukuzakhe, Wakkerstroom, Esizameleni and Daggakraal
