Kruger National Park is a game reserve, bounded in the north by the Limpopo River and in the east by Mozambique. Founded in 1898, it was named after Stephanus Johannes Paulus Kruger (1825-1904), last President of the Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek (Transvaal). (GPS coordinates: 23.7083 S, 31.4295 E).
